Side lighting only.
Side lighting creates a dark atmosphere, and makes the character in shot look like they are torn between a split personality - dark and light. This could be used to represent a character's feelings beginning to turn, as if at one point they were happy, but a darker side is taking them over.
You have a problem in all your shots due to the choice of Shot size and poor framing. You need to get closer to your subject for this to be effective,
