Camera
· CU tight framing to only show part of the character at a time, not the whole character at once to start with
· Camera circles male character when he’s walking to show maybe disorientation
Mise en scene
· Lighting- dark and blue could indicate time of day
· dark lighting you can’t see the male characters face in full or costume, more of a silhouette
· When it gets lighter characters appear to be student age so are in more working class kind of clothing
Editing
· Discontinuity editing to show a negative flashback
· Are the people in the flashback included in any other way in the film?
Sound
· Diegetic sound- alarm, car noises, talking (only in the flashback)
· Non diegetic sound- soundtrack all the way through the opening, quite mysterious and eerie
