Good - if you are using the chain saw as a prop, do NOT USE IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. They are very dangerous. However as a prop its fine to film. The sound you can easily get from Garageband or you would have to get someone who has a licence to use one to start one up and you record the sound separately.
ReplyDeleteThe trespass sign is crucial as a prop - do your research - usually they are No Trespass or Private Property signs - hand written is probably more threatening. Don't underestimate how long it takes to set up a camp, even if it is only for a few seconds of footage. This is good guys, but a lot of work to get your mise en scene convincing. No filming in gardens - this has to feel remote.
