Prop Research- Jodie Avis-Smith

We need 3 tents for our thriller opening, I have 2 of these tents and we're going to use them becauswe they're easy to put up which will save time but would also be something that friends that would use when they're camping instead of a like 8 man tent.

We need rucksacks too for all the stuff to be in and as its something that you'd take camping with you, rucksacks like this would be ideal but any rucksack we can get will be good.

The camp the characters in the film stumble across, they find a map of the area that they're in to see if they can work out where they are. We just need any map we can find, it doesn't have to be specifically of the area that we're going to film in as we're not going to need a close up of it or anything so a map like this would be ideal.

As one of our main props in the thriller opening, we need a chainsaw. We know that they are dangerous and we're obviously not going to use it, just as a prop that someone carries as a threat to the other people. It doesn't matter what type of chainsaw we use (preferably not an electric one with 2243235435124 meters of cable dragging on the floor) but one like this would fit the role well.

As we said before, we need a 'no trespass' sign, and to make the sign look more realistic for our genre, instead of going and buying one i'm going to make a home made one like this one. We want to make it look like its been there for a long time though, not a brand new sign.
