Three boys venture on a camping trip into Ashdown forest, but the camping trip has a little twist. It begins with some hand held shots by the three characters to establish what they’re doing. These bits of footage will be very quick and brief. Long and extreme long shots will also be used to convey where they are. After beginning with some hand held shots the three main characters come to a part of the woods which has a ‘no trespassing’ sign. Only one of the three characters is keen about going in there, but he manages to persuade the others. They set up camp and then decide to go on a short walk. On their walk the encounter on another set of tents (camp) which has been ruined by someone or something. But there is no one around. As it begins to get dark they decide to head back to their own camp, but when they arrive there it looks as if something has changed, but they just think it’s an animal. The final shot will be of one of the characters spinning around with the camera, on the first spin we make out in the background a rough figure of someone. On the second spin the figure is much closer, and as the male character realises he runs off, dropping the camera and the final shot is him running away (with the camera slanted on the floor).

The camera which is dropped on the floor is later found by passer byers. When they look back on the footage they are horrified at what they see. The police are called and the footage is taken in as evidence. As the police try to identify who the figure is in the shot, they are then called out to another murder in the same woods. Puzzled as to who it could be, the police begin to search the area, one of the places they visit is a rundown, unused farm house. In one of the large barns there are signs of someone living in there. Jumping on a bit, the police manage to track the man down, after a third murder and a clue he leaves at the scene leads them to him. The film ends with the murderer holding a young girl he kidnapped hostage with a gun to her head. After the police talk him out of it, the girl is let free but then the man soon after shoots himself in the head.
